I’ve had WatchCrunch recommended by several people, so thought I’d join and say hello 👋 I’m London-based and mildly obsessed with small and independent brands, although I’ll happily sport a Tudor or JLC too… Thought I’d kick things off with a pic of the latest addition - the Fears Christopher Ward Alliance 01. It’s utterly stunning and so distracting when trying to get any work done 🤩

Hi! Thanks for the welcome! It's actually surprisingly easy...they've made the hour disc bright white and the minute hand supremely legible (by combining polishing and brushing), so it's actually much more intuitive than it might look. It's become my new obsession!

I was very fortunate indeed to get one. I would say that it’s worth signing up to the Alliance anyway - I’ve been a member for a while now - and really enjoy the virtual events they’ve been running (as well as the feel-good factor of supporting something does some good for the industry in the UK).
Fears are going places. I predict big things…
I did actually sign up in the end. I’m just waiting for my badge to impress my family. 😉
