I really think Christopher Ward are on the money at the moment. They’ve tightened up their brand, which felt like really the only thing holding them back. Now owning one (soon to be two) I can say that they’re immensely well built, well finished and well engineered. Genuinely think they’re catching up to Tudor levels of quality (and I love Tudor a lot). Yes, Tudor have the heritage and engineering smarts that just put them ahead of so many others in their price bracket. But CW really aren’t too far off in the rear view mirror…
I was very fortunate indeed to get one. I would say that it’s worth signing up to the Alliance anyway - I’ve been a member for a while now - and really enjoy the virtual events they’ve been running (as well as the feel-good factor of supporting something does some good for the industry in the UK).
Fears are going places. I predict big things…
Hi there - thanks for the welcome! @Stroud_Green asked a similar question - and I said to him that it's actually surprisingly easy...they've made the hour disc bright white and the minute hand supremely legible (by combining polishing and brushing), so it's actually much more intuitive than it might look. If anything, it's easier because it's so simple...
