Should I keep my Orient Ray 2?

I tried different strap set up and increased the wrist time with the watch and I could not make my mind up to keep it still. I sold it hence. Some of your input helped me and I found my preference finally! Thank you!
As I’m exploring new styles, I’ve grown less fond of dive watches with rotating bezels unless it’s quirky or rare or a cult or ultra comfortable to wear. I have an Orient Ray 2 - my first dive/dive styled watch. I got it even though it was top heavy for my wrists because I badly wanted a dive watch in the affordable range - rookie madness/impatience. I have worn it with several straps and now I think I should let it go. Is it good to let it go now? Will it have better value over time or when it’s discontinued? Or is there any other reason that makes it unique to keep it? Love the price to value and quality aspect of it at all costs!

They are too common to go up in price, the SKX was an oddity driven by influencer hype.
If you hold it for 50 years it might go up in value, assuming it's in perfect shape.

Personally I think because it was the first watch of that style in the collection I would keep it. There's something about the sentimental place these objects hold that I can never discredit. You can even simply change the bracelet to a funky strap or something and revisit it.
I would keep it. It will not go up in price, and it's still a very functional watch.

Thank you all for sharing your recommendations. I also got influenced by the downsizing I did recently. I was on a selling spree. My intention behind the downsizing was to retain just a few I usually went back to more frequently. I guess I will think about retaining this after a couple of months. Meanwhile if I get a good deal I will utilise it and perhaps buy another while it's still in retail. It is memorable for me because I had adventures outdoors with this and it has been very reliable. The fun factor has been slowly fading...
I like the idea of future classic but not sure it's condition will be in such far off future that I don't bother about today. Perhaps, I should.
