To Color or Not to Color

Hey crunchers!

My watch friend and I are exact opposites in collecting. I tend to stick to monochrome watches (white, black dials) with one blue watch, and he has a much wider color spectrum.

Is your collection full of color or white and black dominant?

10 out of 13 from my core collection are black, blue or gray. 3 are white. I wouldn't call my collection colorful by any means. I actually try to avoid what I consider loud colors which is anything beyond the 4 basic dial colors I own.

You and I both. The irony is my clothes are anything but white and black. But there’s something about being able to wear any watch with almost any choice in outfit.

There is nothing better than a variety of colors.

Having colors are cool to me but this is why I love Watch collecting. There is no right or wrong or one size fits all. I support both of your collections. There wouldn’t be much fun if we all just bought the same watch

I love me a black dial watch, honestly I could just only have black dials and would see no problem with that

·

All depends on style my friend I've gone to what I'm drawn too funny because I thought my collection would have looked a lot different 🤣

·

If there were no coloured dials I doubt I'd have a collection.

Black and white only …. But that new Farer is a thing of beauty. I want it so badly

·

I used to be going for the monochromatic colorway whenever possible but thanks to my girlfriend, now I tend to diversify with colors. She kept calling every diver I wanted buy the same as the other I own already and now I pick different colors or textures dials to keep it different 😂

·

really tempted to get the new Tag skipper!

When I first started out, it was all black or white dials. Then I went through a blue phase. Nowadays I don’t mind color

·

Black, white, blue and one vintage gold. Quite boring in colour scheme I would say. Not a fan of bright/many colours on dial but there are some exceptions out there

·

Mixed approach to me. I have a "serious" and more expensive collection of black, white(silver) and blue colours only, but also a "fun" and more affordable collection with many different colours. Most watches in the serious collection stay since the purchase, but the fun collection is constantly changing.

That’s a brilliant way to do it!

Of my 6 watches 2 are black, 2 are white, 1 grey and 1 blue. I love colour and if I had a larger collection maybe I'd experiment but as is I prefer to play it safe

I like having color variety in my watch collection 🤙❤️

Gotta have a bit of colour in your life
