SOTC - End of 2023

Happy Holidays crunchers! I’ve had so many watches come and go in ther past 18 months, but I’ve realized that I prefer to have 4-6 main watches in my rotation with the rest having sentimental value and will never leave.

What’s next for 2024? Thay White Speedie Pro on Daniel Craig’s wrist last month might be the play. Then again anyone having a spare $7k they don’t need?

Left to right

  • G-Shock G-Lide. Cause every collection needs a beater.

  • Tag Heuer Carrera Twin Time. Inherited this watch and it’s a great reminder of how family doesn’t always have to be blood.

  • Sinn 144 St Sa. The newest addition as of this week and my first chronograph.

  • Casio AE-1200 world time. Because the best travel watch is a $22 Casio that has quick time zone changes and won’t be stolen.

  • Tudor Black Bay 58. My most worn since I got it back in January ‘22. Not thing I would change.

  • Fears Archival 1930. Picked this up at Windup Chicago this year. Cartier eat your heart out. It’s my modernized vintage dress.

  • Seiko SKX007k2. My first automatic watch and the watch I told my wife was “the last and most expensive watch I’ll ever buy.” Wore this one when both my girls were born.

  • Nomos Club Neomatik 748. Silver dial. Rose gold hands. 200m wr and 8mm thick. It’s German witchcraft.

  • Westclox. This was my grandfathers watch. 34mm and 14k gold. The indices don’t match the lume still works somehow but it’s a blast.

  • Timex Weekender chrono. Finally got around to changing the battery, as this was my watch before I was a watch guy.

Here’s to health, family, friends and great watches for everyone in 2024

Thanks. The stories are better than the watches most of the time.
