Hello. Lifelong admirer of watches - only recently starting to educate myself properly on the hobby.

Currently YouTube is my prime source of info: Ben's Watch Club, Teddy Baldassarre, Just One More Watch, Urban Gentry to name just a few

Very small collection so far, consisting of an Orient Kano (RA-AA0915R19B) and a F-91W (of course!)

I've never owned a Orient, but given Seiko's move into less affordable stuff, I'm giving them some serious thought.  That's a lovely looking diver!

A very good start to the collection. Love that bronze sunburst.

The red really caught my eye. My first automatic - love it

I'm very happy with it. I think the red and black work really well together

·

I also have this casio F-91W and change the strap make it realy beautiful.

Love the red dial Orient 👌

Orient makes an excellent product. I've coveted that model since it first appeared several years ago. Komatsu, I believe. I have two Orient divers—Blue Ray and Raven Ray. The color of this dial just draws me.

Love the way that red dial plays with the light.

Love the Orient, bold beautiful dial.

·

Loved red color

Can never go wrong with Orient.

Welcome!

I’ve been waffling back and forth for a while about getting a red dial Orient, because it’s so hard to gauge from pictures how it’s actually going to look in the wild. I gotta say; that one looks pretty damn good.

·

A great way to start your collection! Orient is king 🗿

I was initially afraid the colour wouldn't pop like it did in the online photos and video reviews. But I shouldn't have worried - for me it's a perfect balance between the red and black.

Orients are almost shockingly comfortable, too. Of all my watches, my Orient is probably the one that feels the best on my wrist.

I like the look of the Kano, but think it'd be too big for my wrist. I'm planning on getting a red Kamasu at some point in the future to fill that role in my collection.

I've never had a F-91W, but got a Casio AE1200 to fill a similar need.

Sounds like you're off to a good start, and I like all of the watch channels you mentioned.

What do you think may be your next horological acquisition?
