I’d like to brush the center link but not sure if using a scotch brite pad or a very fine grade version of one is the right call. I’m in northeast ATL area and would rather have it done by someone trustworthy. Any thoughts/advice Thanks!

Get another bracelet that matches what you want
I've used that on cheaper watches, with good results, but I'm not sure I'd try it on your Longines. Get someone to do it for you professionally I say.
Have thought about doing the same on my SM300 heritage, I'll do it myself as I'll never part with it, but I'll wait until it's scratched up
Have the same bracelet on my Hydroconquest. After 7 years of wearing it becomes brushed. So just give it some time and don't baby it, not worth doing that yourself as for max result you would need to brush each link seperately by hand and in same fashion - mission impossible.
I’ve had my Conquest for a couple months now, love the watch, but I have the same gripes/thoughts about that polished centerlink. I did a test on an old Pagani design bracelet using a couple varying grits of very fine sandpaper and steel wool and the results were… not great. I found it extremely difficult to keep the grain direction consistent, and was not able to get at all the articulation points.
You might find you’re more capable than I am at sanding, but it’s definitely above my personal watch modding paygrade. Especially with one of my more expensive watches.
I agree. Get a replacement bracelet a do what you want with it. If you ever decide to sell it, not many will want a modded bracelet.
I brushed the polished center links of both my Big Pilot and Mark XVIII with a scotch brite pad...it´s a 20 minutes job, and I´m very happy with the result

Those look great! Any tips and tricks for it to turn out as well as yours did??
It’s your watch, and know that if you sell it you’ll want to disclose and be upfront…but it’s it’s a keeper, do your thing.
I have taken a GREEN ScotchBrite pad, (taken the bracelet off), and then work in a slow, single direction. I then took Cape Cod pieces and smoothed it over, finally, threw the entire bracelet in an ultrasonic (you can find small ones on Amazon for like $25).
I’ve done it on everything from expensive (to me, over $1000) to daily beaters that were sub $100.
My life doesn’t cater well to high polish ;)
Also, you may want to try throwing it on a leather strap first!
Good luck!!!
Not sure if this would work

Thx.
I just cut the scotch brite pad into narrow strips and startet rubbing the links, always back and forward....that's really all, it's very simple.
What´s important though is that you have to be really sure you want to do it ´cause in case you want to sell the watch later it will be more difficult.
That´s what made me hesitate a little bit ´cause the IWC bracelets are 1.400 EUR....but after some thinking I thought, well f*ck it, I want the bracelets brushed so I will brush them 😉😎

It's a brush that is used to fix scratches on brushed finishing
Took it by my local jeweler and they brushed it for free. Think they did a solid job! @Elcaballero @GullibleAndroid

Looking good. Makes me want to brush mine.

I’m digging it because I use it as a sports watch. The polished center link always elevated it too much for me.

Nice job. Wondering if I shouldn't do the same.

Looks so much better! For such a sporty watch, it really should’ve come from Longines like that. Thanks for the update!! 🍻
