What is your ultimate daily wear watch?

Right now I’m trying to find my ultimate daily driver. The Pelagos 39 is at the top of my list. Simple, lightweight, on the fly adjustment on the clasp, good water resistance.

It's probably my Casio Edifice EFV-100d. A great all weather watch that wears many hats with a simple strap/bracelet change.

P39 as well. Still try and give my 2 other watches some wrist time (espcially my GS since it was my wife's engagement gift), but that Tudor (on the bracelet) ticks all boxes for me.

That’s crazy I also got a GS as my engagement gift… how do you like your P39? I’ve been thinking of having the GS as my more dressy piece, I have a gshock that I wear for high impact activities, and I think the P39 would be ther perfect missing piece to be my daily watch. Thoughts?

Hammy Khaki Field Auto is always my answer. Have not found a watch to dethrone it…yet.

·

I wear my Tudor bb58 on rubber strap pretty much everyday.

·

This is my everyday watch, i love it

Hmm I’ll sell you mine …

😜

It’s just sitting in my box dunno why… but it is a great daily wear!

·

I'd say one of these three is as close to "perfect" as it can get for me.

How much? I have a couple watches I’ll be selling to free up funds so a trade is also on the table. Unless you were joking… if so then haha me too😅

I’ll message you.

Can’t go wrong with the Pelagos!! You will love it. I have the Black and a Blue in the 42. Great all around watch.

·

If I had an everyday watch, it would be an Omega Aqua Terra. I refuse to buy it because I like to have a rotation.

·

For the summer, I have the IWC Mark XX, Tutor BB & Pelagos 39 on rotation the most, interestingly I reach out to the IWC and BB more often than the P39: It is a great watch, however it is not perfect:

The clasp is bulky and very wide. I replaced the OEM bracelet with a Uncle Seiko 5 link. There is no date function, which comes handy as a daily wear.

The free rubber strap that comes with the P39 is of low quality, too stiff and with a huge tang buckle.

Finally it is actually 40mm with the ceramic bezel. So it wears big than the specs.

Hopeful these additional observations will help you to make your own decisions :)

Op39 looks great in any attire

My only watch in rotation… only because everything is in storage. Still, not a bad daily wearer. 😉

Seconded

It’s a struggle for me to find my daily go to.

I’m sure I’m not alone…

I've been wearing my Tudor Ranger and Hamilton Khaki Field King as my daily watches lately. The Tudor Ranger is versatile, with a screw-down crown for water confidence and the ability to dress it up or down. It's a strap monster and looks great on different bands. As for the Hamilton Khaki Field King, I love its Champagne dial, which adds a touch of elegance to its overall appeal. It's a strap monster as well, easy to wear and suitable for both casual and formal settings.

Both the Tudor Ranger and Hamilton Khaki Field King look fantastic on a bund strap, which I personally have a strong affection for. The combination of these watches with a bund strap adds a unique and stylish touch to their overall aesthetic.

·

Most of the time my Rolex Airking🤗

Right size and versatile dial with a splash of color

Pictures or it didn't happen. 😉

Oh, I don’t own it, but I thought the OP just wanted to know what our theoretical best daily driver would be. The way he talked about the Pelagos suggested he didn’t own it yet. If it had to be from my current collection, it would be this.

Gorgeous Omega! I’m yet to see anyone rocking a Lange Odysseus on WC but you never know, we’ve got a few members who seem to have sufficiently deep pockets and I thought I might be able to goad you into sharing a wrist shot! I’m with you, though: ALS Odysseus would be my ideal too.

Hmmm... could this be a Shogun? I have eyed this eatch since release but haven't found someone who owns one. Ot seems like a great GADA Titanium watch. Question: am I right?

Yes, you are right it is a Shogun. I really like it, although I do toy with removing the cyclops but my aging eyes say no.

Yes you are correct. It is a really comfortable and light watch. I am really enjoying it.

I’ve been enjoying the Sydney Diver from Bausele. I don’t dress up much but the durability has held up to summer with 5 kids really well

Need to check out that Seiko Willard SPB237. Thoughts?

·

My Pelagos LHD is my current daily driver. I tried on the Pelagos 39 and it just wasn't right for me. While my ultimate daily might be smaller than my 42mm Pelagos, I still love my Pelagos in part because it is so chunky.

·

I have 3 daily wear Tudors but this one gets most of the wrist time, all four seasons of the year! Tudor BB bronze from 2016.

Not necessarily a daily wear but my lazy watch to put on is a MoonSwatch since its no frills and super light. I alternate between a lot of watches throughout the day so sometimes they can get a bit weighty on the wrist even if they are light
