This is really cool. Thank you for posting. My favorite is the everyday pocket watch for .92 cents … lol
@roberto - take a look at the latest video from the urban gentry:
He talks about WMT and hits some of the highlights with quality and value. Does a great job summarizing it. Maybe that will help with your decision
overall I’m pleased with the WMT. Aesthetically it does have that vintage Rolex feel. Absolutely love the bezel and insert on this one. This is probably my favorite feature of the watch.
The movement in the lorier Hyperion winds smoother and feels less gritty. Also the WMT rotor is loud. Not annoying but I can hear it from time to time. I have the watch on today and typically the jingle of the jubilee conceals it…lol. along the lines of fit and finish, overall it is good. End links are nice and tight, clasp is solid and the bracelet feels like most jubilees Ive had in the past. It reminds me of a 1979 datejust I had a few years back.
WMT builds a nice watch but Lorier is still better in my opinion. Personally I wouldn’t pay retail for the WMT but if you can get it preowned for a discount, I’d go for it.
