Research Time - Favorite Pepsi Bezel Watch?

Hi friends!

I need some help with some research if you'd like to participate. I like to see what watch folk actually answer rather than just speculate :D

What are your favorite Pepsi bezel watches? Obvious pricier choices like Rolex, Tudor, or even TAG? Bargain badasses like Timex, Seiko, or Baltic (yes, I know it's orange but I still see it as Pepsi-like)? Or are there others that you like that don't get enough attention?

Thank you! 🍻

I'm going with the SKX 009 for old time's sake.

A classic for sure!

I do like that tudor pepsi. Thinner bezel and a matte finish unlike anything else on the market but when you see the Rolex for the first time in real life it cannot be beat

Orient Mako II.

Generally don't like pepsis, but I havea  great fondness for the Rolex 16710BLRO pepsi GMT.

I don't like the pepsi ceramics, frankly, they look oddly plasticky to me, even in person, probably just because  of the color scheme.  The old alumnium bezel has a much truer color in my view.

Rolex ceramic takes the cake for me. Very technically impressive to manufacture, the color pops, and it doesn't scratch or fade. Beautiful engineering 💪

·

The only one I own is an SKX009.  My favorite would be an early GMT master.

I’m partial to Coke bezels.

I’ve come close to getting the GMT II a couple times, but I have the Batgirl, and there are other watches in the $10k price range I’d rather add first than another GMTII.

Note if anyone of you were one of the 50 to get the Monta and want to sell, hit me up!  :-) the Monta for the build quality and execution, to me, might be the best under $2500. Heck, I’d rather have it than the Tudor or any other sub $5000 Pepsi every single time.

In Zodiac’s defense of the list, they have history going back to the 60s for their first Pepsi bezel, granted still after Rolex, but the original Aerospace GMT with a Pepsi bezel is very sought after and the story was enough for me to grab the new one.

GMT Master pre ceramic. Circa 2000. Post tritium lume, pre the disappearance of drilled lugs. The perfect Pepsi.

I like the retro vibe on this Timex Q. Also I saw a modded watch with a Pepsi glass bezel somewhere, really dig it!

·

BB GMT for me.  I do like the new Glycine Pepsi GMTs too.

·

Magnum's Rolex wins!

Definetly the Tudor, mainly because it resembles the 80's Rolex GMT Pepsi Bezel haha, I imagine it's as close to how the GMT MAster looked brand new at the time as we can get.

I think the current Rolex GMT font is perfect for the all black or black and blue configuration, but on a pepsi somehow it looks a bit crowded to me.

Pepsi Seiko 🐢

I flipped this little guy a few years ago. Sometimes I miss it 😥

The current BLRO with a ceramic bezel on a jubilee cannot be beat.

Easy. 1) Tudor Black Bay GMT 2) Seiko Turtle PADI SRPE99

·

I’m not a GMT fan generally. I’m not a huge Tudor fan. But that Tudor Pepsi sure is nice looking…

·

None - I despise the Pepsi bezel colors. Just being honest.

I just looked through my image inventory and the only watch I could find that could even qualify is my Bulova Surfboard reissue

And the poor wrist shot is evidence of how long ago this particular watch made it onto my wrist.

Not a Pepsi fan.

Now if we were talking Bamford Blue and Black...

Add this to the mix ;)

It would have to be my forum namesake, the 16750 GMT.

Not a perfect watch, especially by today's modern standards, but it's still a solid choice as it's nearing its 40th birthday.

Tudor pepsi GMT is just fantastic,if you had a gun to my head I would much rather have that then the Rolex GMT Master 2. The Tudor has much more of a vintage vibe which I enjoy.

Also, the Timex Q gmt with pepsi is quite smart.

·

Rolex GMT Master II with aluminium bezel, classic gmt not too big,not too blingy!

·

My cheap and cheerful Timex Harborside :)

I love my Tudor Black Bay GMT. Possibly more Burgandy than Red, but who doesn't enjoy a fine Pinot Noir?
