I've been contemplating a diver for well over a year now. Doxa is on the short list, as I'm looking for something fun and colorful to break up my black and beige dials. Then I saw this yesterday. Limited to 57 pieces (still a few left) but a black dial and a bit over priced for a 300T IMO. So Doxa fans, is it worth taking the plunge for this limited edition? Who else is going to contemplate pulling the trigger on this one?

DOXA Cruncher here. Hadn’t seen this one. It’s certainly interesting.
A 300T for the price of a 300. I suppose the difference comes down to it being a LE and unique color way. While I’ll say It’s worth taking the plunge on DOXA in general, I’m not sure about this one. It’s great looking, though.
The Hamilton was cooler…
I owned one for a few days. The bracelet is terrible, in all ways. The quality isn’t there tbh in terms of finishing of the case. Also they TANK on the secondary so buy used

I think you may get the rubber strap as well but don't quote me on that

Thanks for the heads up 🫡
Doxa is the OG color dial masters! Love them but don't own one myself. Hope to someday!
Honestly, I wouldn't buy a limited edition with so many colors to choose from, at a lower price.
If you want a fairly unique doxa, go for it!
If you want a doxa that's worth something, don't go for the limited edition, go for the diving editions: aqualung, Poseidon and co (there are many more :) )
If I'm not mistaken, it's just a limited edition for a German retailer, isn't it?
Personally, I love Doxa so much that I sometimes forget its faults. Since mine has more sentimental value than purely watchmaking.
I have a 600T surprisingly that is still in the collection. I hate it most days and love it when I wear it

It is. All great points. Those diving additions 🤑, just a bit out of my price range, especially for a vintage diver. I think I'll stick to the secondary mkt for a Sub300 in their current color way.

Same
This is good looking 👌
The Doxa is a great choice BUT I would recommend the SUB 300 - the thickness is what makes the difference for me. I own a SUB 300 and besides the higher movement grade , the thickness makes it pure joy to wear
Have much love for Doxa but a Squale and a Zodiac got in the way… returning to this brand thanks to your post! My vote is with the Aquamarine…good luck!🤙🎯
I love these dials not so much the case on my skinny wrists . Cracker of a choice I reckon x
I wanna see a Vulcain Cricket on TV again :)
I'm Doxa curious..
That sounds you know what …. 😂
No offense meant. Frankly every time I go to the mall I lust over the Doxa.
There are no Doxas at my mall, and with so many stores leaving, soon there may not even be a mall for no Doxas to be at.

I think there's something wrong with my Cricket. Every time I watch or read anything about the latest day-to-day news, the alarm goes off.
George take that photo down man, you're blinding me. And I can't decide which one I like more.

the classic one is my favorite ! I bought it in memory of my grandfather - he had a similar one, but it was stolen from him

My Mall is Mall of America thankfully, we have a Watches of Switzerland. Life wouldn't be the same with no mall.

That’s a fun cool watch

Good on you 🙏 that’s a beautiful gesture. My dad’s youngest brother ended up with my grandfather’s stuff including his 60s watches . I did inherit his Soligen steel german krupp steel hunting knife which I had rehandled in deer antler like a German hunting knife should be with a silver pommel . My eldest now holds it . It was my great great grandfather’s. My father was the eldest son as am I . My Eldest is a girl but she appreciates it for its provenance. my other child is also a daughter so no eldest Son . Objects hold family memories:)
That’s a fun cool watch
Thanks
I was in Jura Watches in Whitby on Saturday and saw the #doxa collection, beautiful watches

That classic one is beautiful 😍
I won’t ever go diving in one when I buy one, I just love the shape and colours on the #doxa range 👌🏼💦
This colorway/scheme is beautiful. Maintaining a dark dial with high contrast markers while weaving in a pop of color - perfect execution. I've not seen one of these until right now, but right now I feel like I need one!
