Close up on Cartier Tank Solarbeat numerals

For those of you who are curious about the look of the numerals on the Solarbeat Tank, here a close up picture. You can see that there is some beautiful reflection on the 11. I had a hard time figuring out if there are cut outs or just the normal printing. Even at such a high magnification, you can't really tell the difference. In direct comparison with the Quarz Tank, you can see that the printing of the Quarz version is a bit glossier. But there is no dramatic difference at all.

It's on my list 😍

Can't wait to get one.  I heard that an easy way to spot the difference is by looking at the 4 marker.  In the solarbeat the numerals do not touch bc they are cutouts, whereas  in the non-solar they do touch since they are printed.

I look at the numerals a lot. Stare at them most days. They are kind of slightly sunk in, instead of bugling out. But it’s not unattractive. In fact it’s gorgeous. Absolute no brainer to get the Solar over the quartz if you can. That said if you can’t - I love the watch so much I’d heartily recommend the quartz one too.

Yes you can easily spot the difference by looking at the numbers. As willdub said the numerals are not connected with each other and the numerals are sunken in a bit. You can see the reflections of the light on the edges of them. I highly highly recommend it! I also recommend the small size. Love it so much.

Which size do you went with, Justingalore?

Is the very small 'cartier' written in the V at 7 excluded? I can't imagine they'd manage to cut it out of the dial..
