@DeeEx27 Great question. I think the answer varies for everyone, but for me (putting specs and details aside) I like having the option of a light or dark dial. There are times when I much prefer wearing the panda chrono for contrast or more wrist presence. As of late I have been enjoying wearing an all black outfit with the Tudor and a pair of boots or white sneakers. If I am in the mood for something that does not stand out as much I'll choose the black Seamaster and sometimes pair it with a black nato.

I completely agree about the Aqua Terra, if I had to only keep one it would probably be the AT as it seems to fit all use cases for my lifestyle. But I am very happy to have the diver and driver as well. At one point I had a Cartier tank as a proper dress watch but realized that it just wasn't for me. I was wearing it more for it's cachet rather than because I enjoyed it. I receive much more enjoyment from the AT as a dress and GADA watch.

And as a side note I think the first gen AT's are an absolute value for the money (was considering a Datejust but could not justify the cost for what you get). Not sure why the AT's are not more popular, but I'm also thankful because it has kept it's price down.

@Inkitatus @Watchmade Believe me it was a tough decision and was definitely a consideration, but I really wanted a white/panda chrono and did not like any in the Omega catalog except for the 44m racing, which was too large and too expensive (at the time) for me. Though I agree getting a speedy would very nicely complete the Omega trio, I figured I wouldn't be completely happy if got speedy just to have a speedy. So I got what I knew I would personally enjoy and I have no regrets with the Tudor. (200m water resistance on a chrono is also a nice to have, hah!)

Awesome, love this reference, I think the first gen with no wave dial is the best. Love the deep black on the dial and applied logo. It's a Forstner president bracelet. It's not bad, but I'm looking to replace it with a speedmaster bracelet in the future once I figure out what works. I've seen photos of successful swaps but still unclear on now to make it work.

As someone who has never tried on an AP I 100% agree with your sentiment. However, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait til I try one on to see if I still have the same feelings

I can’t say I enjoy his content but he seems like a smart dude and I definitely respect what he has been able to do. I think we need to understand that we are not his target audience.
