Most definitely 24 hour format. Honestly not sure if AM/PM is a thing outside the US/UK. Over here it's also the standard way to use the 24 hour format. Which is why I also don't really get the military style watches with the extra 13 to 24 markers on them. Another imperial holdover?

Every digital watch that I own is set to display the time in 24hr format.
My 2 Casios are set at 24 hours time. It is the customary way of telling time here in Germany.

I always employ 24 hour time when possible, just to annoy people and be a prat. Same with the hourly chime.
