I have the champagne dial and absolutely love it. I reviewed it for my blog a little while ago (warning: shameless promo AND long article: https://indiesandmicros.com/2022/07/field-report-the-hesili-original-series-one/) and loved it.

When I put it on the timegrapher back in March or April, it averaged out to about +2 sec/day. I put it on again briefly at the start of this week and was pretty happy to see that it was still just about at the same level. STP movements might have gotten a bad rap initially, but the one in this and the Stella Felix I have have both been performing like champions. Very happy with this movement.

I'm super interested in the Photic Diver in Abyss Black with the silver hands and markers on the bracelet. Instant buy for me. Can't wait till it's available again! You have an ETA, @Clemence_Watches?

C63 GMT FTW!

I’ve bought two watches on WatchUSeek and been very happy with them. Reddit also has /r/watchexchange, which is also pretty good. Kinda surprised there isn’t a buy/sell/trade forum here.

Slightly off-topic, but I have to disagree with some of the comment above. There are buyers who will snap up affordable microbrands. My collection is very intentionally almost 90% indies and micros, enough so that I started a website and Insta specifically focusing on that sector. Micro doesn’t always mean cheap, either. I’ve got a $2K Monta Atlas GMT on my wrist right now (though admittedly, it’s the most expensive watch I own). Just putting this out there to make sure you don’t pass on microbrands because you have a bad taste after your first couple of purchases.

Definitely Farer (though I own watches from both brands and love them both). Wider variety of timepieces, amazing attention to detail (just look at that movement in the Stanhope II), and really solid fit and finish.

Best get it fast! The Aventurine sold out in literally less than 60 seconds even though they had 200 units made. The Gold/Carbon one sold out in a day or so. The NASA is still available, but no idea how long...
