Hi all, noob here. I was gifted a pre-loved submariner date and am struggling to ascertain the production year. The only number I can easily see is on the bezel and I’m not dedicated enough to drop $200 for Swiss tweezers. The problem is the (serial?) doesn’t seem to match any of the reference materials I’ve found. Mine is a mix of letters and numbers. Can anyone help? The number is: 67K1W055. TIA

If the serial is engraved in the inner bezel/rehaut, then it's post 2005. Once you get to 2011, I'm pretty sure they started randomizing it so serial was no longer a good way of determining date of manufacture.
As above around 2010/11 Rolex started using random serial numbers
I'm not sure that is the serial number, they normally start with a letter & then a series of numbers. On older Rolex the serial number is between the lugs of the watch, so you may to take the bracelet off the see it, hope this helps
Other lists are available to cross check against but you can check against this
You’ll need to take the bracelet off to check the serial and model on the case…Here’s an example.
Hope this helps
For this example the “Z” serial represents 2006
