Why choose? Get both. I have the PRX and looking for a good deal on the Alpinist.
PRX is boring imo
Two different styles of watch and it really depends on what you are after. C
If you want to add an integrated bracelet style watch to the collection, then go with the PRX.
If you want a tool watch with versatility, then go for the Alpinist.
I wouldn't buy any of them, but I do prefer the alpinist for its very nice dial and the fact that I don't like the PRX integrated bracelet
