I never understood why the Porsche folks didn’t have a German watchmaker’s clock in their cars…seems so logical to me…
But Porsche Design is a 100% daughter of Porsche and Porsche always used to make their own watches. From the 911 to the wrist and back from the wrist into the cockpit. It would be strange if they didn't trust their own know how.
Very interesting. I can't even remember the last time I was in a car with an analog clock.
I wonder what the WR rating is on that one. ;)
Maybe they should ask Nautische Instrumente Mühle Glashütte 🤔. I mean Mühle equips all kinds of sea vessels with instruments. What works in rolling seas should work in a concrete yacht too just in case it rains a bit more 🤔.

Probably higher than the leather in that thing. It's nicer than any couch I've owned 😂😂😂😭😭😭
I love that modern cars bring these back. $160K option in the new Bentayga. Porsche has a nice one too.

I have no idea who makes the clock in my car, but I find it to be a really nice touch, especially when it's backlit at night.

I never realized it isn't branded. Porsche is missing a collaboration opportunity
Maserati always have them.

Right?!? Now…we need to start taking bets on who it’s gonna be…
Junghans also made clocks for German autos back in the day and some of their modern watches still carry on that DNA.

So if you’ve ever wanted a quartz IWC or Breitling… this is how to get one? 🤔😅

Just checked and it's got no brand, they are definitely missing a trick
Old Renault used to have Jaeger dash clocks and spedometers. Look at this dashboard. Why we (humans) don't make things beautiful as we use to do them!
