Hey crunchers!
I'm looking forward to buy my first watch with a swiss movement and got hooked on the idea on getting a sinn 556 i rs. but than the super squale was suggested to me and now i'm not so sure about the sinn anymore.
so i would like to here your experiences or opinions about either one. what are your pros & cons?
You already own a Baltic which looks like (but probably better than) the Squale. Also, I'd want a date complication. I suggest you stick with the Sinn!

i don't really want the date, that's why i like the squale. but you're right with the baltic.

Have you considered the Archimede Pilot 200. I really like that watch, and the date is in a much better place (at 6):

How do you intend to wear it? What would better round out your collection?

i've seen it before but forgot about it. maybe because of the orange. but it does look good.

both would fit in the collection. i don't have to check any boxes.

In that case...I'd go Sinn
Looking at your collection I’d say the Sinn might be a better fit overall. If you’re looking for something more dive oriented then definitely go the Squale.
I bought a Squale recently and really liked it. Unfortunately my movement was playing up so I had to return it. (Although I’m hoping to have a replacement in my hands again soon)

I agree about the orange. It is the one thing that has been holding me back. How versatile would it be? I find it hard to picture on anything other than the supplied or a black strap (or the bracelet). Orange ain’t really my colour. Sorry for making the picture more confusing!

just updated the collection-pic. the baltic made me like dive watches.
Squale for sure 👌🏻
They are equally good, really well made, and built to last.
One is Swiss and one German. Now it depend which one you like better.
For me I prefer Sinn's design, I owned a Sinn U1. That thing is super well built, like a tank! I have scuba dived with in at 40 meters and it served me as it would. I am pretty certain that Squale will do the same.
Since you mentioned you want swiss movement, maybe it's best you go for the Swiss watch?
Sinn 100% no contest.
Whichever one you think is better for you.
My personal pick would be the Sinn as I find Squale watches (all of them) ugly due to the logo.
Have owned, and still own several Sinn models. Have owned and quickly flipped the one Squale I purchased years ago. Squale is less than you get with Steinhart at a ridiculous premium that is a joke.
Sinn is in another league. This is like comparing a solid high school football team (Squale) to a professional NFL team (Sinn).

Thanks for the Infos. Good to know that the Sinn is in another league.
