I understand. Our hobby is also sometimes (or most of the time) devoid of proper reasoning or logic. If you want a watch which speaks to you, you just have to have it. "Buy what you want" has always been the norm for most enthusiasts. 😄

Yup, they are truly amazing watches, aesthetics and tech-wise. Well, for now I would have to settle for my other pieces. I hope not for very long. 😉

Well, that is one way of dealing with the issue! But I wouldn't want to wait a month to be able to wear the watch when I want to. 😂 It was entirely my fault. I should have paid more attention and care in setting the date. Patience is a virtue. 😉

I don't think they are really that fragile specially if you give them the appropriate TLC. Just hope that when the time has come for servicing GS would have delegated this to authorized service centers internationally in another 3-5 years. 😉

Thanks man! Yup, be very careful when setting the date with the hour hand. I don't think the gear teeth are very tolerant to fast/sudden revolutions. 😪

Up until this incident I have been very deliberate in setting the date on this particular watch. However, during this instance I was at the same time watching netflix so I probably did not realize it that I was cycling the crown too fast! I'm just so mad at myself! 😠
