A Tale of Two Sailcloth Straps
Just received my Artem Loopless Sailcloth Strap with Omega-style Deployant Clasp for the SMP.
A week earlier I also received the Tudor Deployant Clasp for the previously acquired custom Two-Stitch Sailcloth Strap on the Northflag.
You can say I have a special propensity to Sailcloths. The Artem is really of great quality. Comfortable and conforms to the wrist better. While I prefer the bolder weave of the Two-Stitch strap which looks better to me although it wears stiffer due to the leather underside.
I am happy with both these straps which complements the pieces they are fitted to. Just sharing my thoughts to the watchfam. Ok goodnight y'all. 😉

The yellow stitch pops on the Tudor 😍
Sailcloth looks good but skin gives off biologics that bacteria love and give off odors. That way they are very hard to clean compared to a Nato or leather. Those look good though.

The Artem has a rubber underside while the Two-stitch has leather. Never had an issue with odor on both. 😉

Yeah I was bummed!! Was soo excited too!! It just left this weird space between the case and strap and the fat spring bars I ordered that came with it didn’t fit, so had to use the oem spring bars which is skinny and wanted a beefed up spring bars but the lug holes didn’t fit and when I used the OeM there’s wiggle since it supposed to be fitted with the fat spring bars … oh well still an excellent strap but not for my Tudor I guess…
