How is it in reality? Hope it doesn't disappoint. BTW ๐
Oh it's great, there are enough twists to make it interesting and different.
It has a lot more heft than your average 38mm watch, possible due to the movement but also because it's kind of beefy.ย
The crystal is something I haven't wrapped my head around yet, it's flat on the outside and domed inside with purple-blue coating. It might not be the most legible but it's certainly like no other watch I have.
I might have chosen the boring colourway, but I really like that ambiguous grey/ taupe/ brown dial and the light blue accents. Looks like the colours of asphalt and neon light, which sounds reasonable for the colourway's name "Metro".
I love that's it's properly regulated because that's usually a major annoyance with Seiko movements for me. The box and presentation was fantastic, might be my favourite micro in that regard.
I think the blue colourway is more sought after, that one went out of stock right away..
I love colours that dont shout so this is right up my alley. the hands, the numerals, colours and the design of the gmt are all working together. May go with the H bracelet though.
how is the regulated movement performing so far pls?

I think the H-link would give a much more sleek utilitarian look, I opted for the b.o.r. for some bling ๐
Not that it's staying a lot, but I checked the accuracy with a phone app, it's within 4 s/d in every position.ย
I think that you made the right choice with the bracelet. It looks like a very "under the radar" good purchase.
Thanks! I spent a inappropriately long time pondering if and which bracelet to pick. Now that I see the finished combination, I'm quite happy with my choice ๐

The crystal is certainly an interesting feature. We chose to dome the underside because the effect it has is that it brings the dial right up to the surface when viewed at extreme angles. It kind of mimics the oil-filled effect, but without the oil. But you should be able to see the position of the hands at extreme angles. Give it a try!
I bought an extra bracelet with the watch, there are three fitting bracelets to choose from ๐
Did you buy the bracelet directly from Nodus :)?
I recently got another GMT from a different microbrand which unfortunately left me dissatisfied (QC issues). The watch was also underwhelming for the price.
This Nodus is absolutely beautiful and I love the unique design. The inner circle of numbers at first seemed odd, but the more I look at it, the more I love it. It's definitely an eye-catcher and I really like this subtle color-way as well.
These photos might have just won me over to return the other GMT and get the Sector instead :)

Nodus is a pretty cool microbrand, and your watch looks really well made. Congrats and enjoy it!ย

Thank you very much! ๐
I only found it because I follow them on Instagram, there was no usual barrage of Youtube reviews for the launch.ย
Very cool indeed! Enjoy!
Not a big fan of microbrands, or brands from America, but this is STUNNING. Might jump on this when back in stock, thanks for sharing!

I was on the fence with them for years but the circular (concentric?) numerals on the GMT pushed me over ๐
That is very nice indeed! I love the hand set ๐
I'm still looking for my perfect GMT, even though I have no need of one either ๐
Congrats on the new watch! One of the nicest Noduses (Nodi?) Iโve seen ๐ย
Lovely watch! I bet this would sing on a leather strap.
Really beautiful watch overall! And nice pics too.๐Enjoy!

Liking the Tiffany Blue or should I say Komparu GMT hand since its heart is a Seiko NH34 movement โค๏ธย

The Komparu comparison is also better fitting colour-wise - the Nodus' blue is more powdery sky blue than Tiffany blue
Wes from Nodus checking in. Glad you are enjoying the watch, and have to say, it looks great on the BoR! Enjoy!
