Date placement

Just curious what people think! I'm a 6-oclock or no date person.

D: I like the date at 3, 4 or 6 but never at 9 please

4

Don't care where it is. Don't mind if it doesn't have one.

·

As long as it's tastefully incorporated, I don't mind where it goes, but 6:00 usually works well.

·

My watches mostly have it at 3 but I love the symmetry of having it at 6

·

D) 4 o’clock and in a proper size. Otherwise C (that said: quite a few of my watches have a date window af 3 o’clock. I don’t really mind, but would’ve preferred no date if given the choice)

You don’t have an “any of the above” choice so I didn’t vote.

I’d rather not have a ghost date, so if a movement has a date function, then I would like a date window at 3 (preferred), 4, or 6.

4.30 let the flaming commence 😉

·

No big deal wherever, I like the different look each give. I also like 4:30, anything for a bit of asymmetry.

1630, 1800 or no date

·

I'd have previously insisted that I prefer having a date until this month, when I found that I'd not noticed that I hadn't changed it until 19th October!

·

For me only the execution matters. 3, 6, 4, all are fine when done well. Big dates are usually done well anyway, but 4:30's are often not straightened to horizontal and therefore are ugly and illegible.

·

Anything except the Zenith 4:30!

If a date, 3 or 6. I don’t mind not having a date. If the watch stops it’s easier to reset!
