What’s your favorite titanium field watch?

Just got this cool Boderry, and I would like to know your thoughts on this watch in particular and titanium field watches in general.

Looks good and would love to experience a grade 5 titanium watch at some point in time.

I am not familiar with Boderry myself but have seen good reviews of their watches. I do like the textured dial, handset, and arabics, but I am not sure if the 4:00 date window works on this watch for me. The case is reminiscent of a Bertucci case, which I do like. Not a fan of the maroon and pumpkin color combination, but that is my own aesthetic. Overall, I do like the look of it. What is the movement in this watch?

I do have one titanium case watch I just got, a Tandorio 36mm Explorer-style field watch.

As I stated, I just got this yesterday, but I do like it, and I have had good luck with Tandorio watches from AliExpress. It is hard to find much wrong with an automatic titanium watch for less than $100.

I think that looks great, and I love titanium and think it works great as the material for field watches. In my mind field watches are meant to be rugged looking and the natural look of titanium lends itself to that. I’ve currently got a Hamilton Khaki Field in ti, and I’ve had a Bertucci, a Boldr and another Hammy in titanium.

My current favourite ti watch is probably this Vilhelm.

Love the look, color, dial, AND date layout. Very fun. Big fan of titanium. I have two and had a seamaster titanium for a short time.

Edit: Just saw the price. Wow. That seems like a great deal!

Went with the Bertucci since Boderry wasn't an option back in 2013 to my knowledge and I liked supporting a US company.

Downside is no bracelet since the Bertucci 's are fixed lug.

Like the case bevel and bracelet on yours m! 🤘🏻

Other Ti field I've enjoyed is the monobloc case Citizen Tough Ti aka the Ray Mears.

But since I primarily wear straps, out shoulderless Marathon bars in. No drilled lugs so it's the next best thing to fixed.

For actual practical use my Tissot T Touch. Got ABC sensors & all the gadgets and gizmos. ..rarely use it tho, prefer a bit of heft and analog.

SWC Bunker, unbeatable for the price 🙂 Grade 2 titanium with hardening coating, 16 layers of anti reflective coating and 20 layers of super luminova.

IWC Pilot Mark XVIII Heritage. One advantage over the non-faux patina pilot models is the fully lumed numerals on this one.

I've been debating this Formex for a long time. A great price and a great microbrand.

That's a nice watch and a new brand to me. I don't own a titanium but I plan on getting one, sometime in the future (Casio/Citizen probably). The finishing can be a bit subdued for some, but the added weight saving and longevity makes the difference.

I would like to hear your impressions of the bracelet and whether it's worth buying.
