Show your Vostok Mods!
The only thing I’ve ever changed on one of my Vostoks, like with my above Amphibia ‘Zissou,’ is the bezel. I’d love to see what you guys have done, and I am open to any modification ideas and suggestions you have for this watch or for future watches!

I've done pretty basic stuff. I have all the gear to create the Lunar Dude but haven't got round to it. So far on Scuba Dude I've changed the bezel to a matching teal and added an exhibition caseback. On the Zissou I changed the back to the Zissou relief, and of course put it on a rubber strap.

Vostok K-65… new hands, new bezel with ceramic insert and an exhibition case back. I also upgraded movement holder to a blue metal with Cyrillic font plus some good old Russian blue screws in the movement. Keep’s surprisingly good time. Unfortunately I’ve recently decided to sell it. (It will be on eBay within the next day or two) I learned quite a bit during my ownership of the watch. This fella will be missed, just not enough wrists!
Only changed the strap for now, still considering to change the caseback with something quirky/see-through

Lunar Dude, or Cosmodiver, was a failed project. See this eBay listing for pics, and the description gives info on what happened.

If you want some ideas, a good place to check out is the vostok mod thread on WUS. Jimzilla is a frequent poster there and he seems to have done it all
Hard to find a Vostok in my country. Lucky I got to get a used one fairly cheap. Immediately mod it, brushed the bezel & case using scotchbrite and swap the bracelet with diver rally rubber strap.

I prefer the brushed look, more like a vintage military tool watch. The process of modding it was so satisfying, I wish I had another Vostok! 😅
