Anyone Collect Alarm Complications?

The Alarm complication is one of my favorites. Would love to see any alarm watches you guys have!

Has alarm on the dial, but no idea how it works! 🤣

·

Something definitely on my radar to get however, very nice piece 👍🏾

·

This is a very cool vintage watch. How much did you pay for it?

Do Gshock watches count? 🤣

That’s so cool! Had no clue, Seiko made a Titanium Alarm watch!

I paid under $200 which, I think, was a steel!

Neither did I. Got this as a present from my wife years ago (mid 00s).

Here are mine.

Future aspirations are:

Omega Memomatic

JLC Master Control Memovox

Vulcain Cricket

·

I have a JLC Memovox and a Seiko Bellmatic, both were handed down to me.

·

I lucked out with a 1960 Vulcain in almost mint condition and the alarm still works!

Fortis B42 Cosmonaut Alarm watch was single Fortis watch that I kept after impulsively buying 3 on my way to the subway station one late morning. The watches were typically discounted heavily but I wanted this iteration from literature that I read at the time.

My late father’s seiko Bellmatic - the restoration cost more than the watch is worth - but it’s priceless to me.

Perhaps the restoration cost you more than it would sell for, but that's not more than what its worth. Beautiful and it honors your late father. Bravo!!

·

I definitely want to add an alarm watch. Memovox or the omega one maybe. Didn't know there were so many different models!

It’s sort of the lost complication. I think Tudor makes one that’s pretty cool. But there are many dozens of brands that made them at one time

I second that

I like an alarm, so rare (relatively) on an analogue watch.

Fantastic!

I agree. Maybe this is one that more brands will revive. I like how easy it is to set and the JLC memovox is fairly quiet and discreet. I'd like it to be more vibration and quieter to avoid disturbing others. I'll do some research on these, nice topic.

I love the Benrus and your Bellmatic! Awesome watches. You have the same future aspirations as me!

Thanks. Hopefully, we'll both add those pieces to our collections.
