Watch Apps For Your Phone

Does anyone else use an App to manage their collection?

Have been using WatcheePro for a few years and find it pretty good.

You can track wear rate of watches, produce pdf’s with watch details, record sold watches and calculate how much money you have made/lost, track different types of watches in your collection as well as a load of other bits and pieces.

Have also recently started using MyWatchMemoir also.

Would be interested to hear of any other Apps people recommend.

That sounds like a job not a hobby to me, I'm sure it would appeal to some people though.

Ive tried to find MyWatcmemoir for Android but it says it's not available as it was built for an older version. I cant find any information on if it's been updated if has continuing support. Are you on iPhone or Android?

Id love to be able to document my collection like this so I'd also be very interested in hearing any alternatives.

·

Hmm, depends. Could be useful for me if the app links all the specifications of the watch to your upload. Always nice to have a digital backup. Logging wear is something I just don't want to do...

Chrono24 for me. It's not perfect because the prices are hugely inflated making you think you are sitting on a fortune, but it's okay. Hadn't heard of your ones.

Chrono24 is missing so many watches and their estimated value is WAY off. Even compared to the same watches in their site. I found they underestimate the value. Strange...

Agreed. You know you still can't catalogue a Kurono Tokyo in your collection. I asked and they said it will become available when enough people add it... but how can enough people add it... if we can't add it?! 🤔

Yep on both apps pdf is export includes pic/s and details you enter 👍🏻

Yeah. It's a dumb implementation. That "MyWatchMemoir" seemed like it would tick all the boxes but it's not available for Android!

I use Chrono24 app to do the same and it also shows real time value of your collection as well. Highly recommend the app for all collectors and enthusiasts. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Underestimating the value is better than overestimating. Keeps you more realistic. 😜😜😜

Interesting. Usually, on Chrono24 the prices are undervalued. I’m interested to learn about your collection that Chrono24 overestimates.

It reckons my used Seikos SPB117 and SARB033 are worth £478 and £573 respectively. I wouldn't get that. It thought I'd get £800 for my SRPE49J1 Frozen Margarita and it doesn't go for anywhere close.

Excel doc. Would not trust an app with my full collection details down to serial numbers, while also likely tracking my location. Values online are imaginary, especially when comparing against asking prices, which are rarely realistic.

·

Watchee Pro as well!

·

What would you say is the main difference between the two apps and which one do you ultimately prefer?

·

I think WatcheePro takes it for me as has more features
