An apology for the Tudor Royal

I get it why the Tudor Royal is not so popular among collectors and kind of overlooked; it's a case of too much, too late, a combination of integrated bracelet fatigue mixed with a list price which is neither entry-level nor high-end. But, man, does it look and feel good in the metal! Couldn't be happier with my latest acquisition.

Another great looking watch from Tudor 😍a model that I’m not overly familiar with. Love the bracelet and bezel on this 🔥

There is something about this #tudor that has driven my attention for a while. I was about to buy the roman number white dial a couple of years ago as it resembled my stolen Datejust almost twenty years now. So then, the #rolex AD called me and the story ended with me spending 9,000 in my beloved watch. But I still feel something is still there when I look into this watch. It is certanly beautiful and to be honest, I like my BB58 more than my actual Rolex so probably if I give this watch the same opportunity, I will probably end up selling my R. I digress. Gret watch, beautiful bezel and dial. Tudor is really doing things well.

I think the #tudor Royal gets caught in the is it a dress watch or a sports watch mentality we have nowadays where you can only be one or the other. Why not both?
