How Tudor could have made the Ranger interesting

Last year I was in the market for a Tudor and I was considering the Ranger among others. Ultimately I went for a full-size Pelagos as the better choice for me, and one of the reasons for not choosing the Ranger was that it is too bland for my taste.

Having invested 60 Euros in this AliExpress special, I'm left thinking how easy it would have been for Tudor to make the Ranger way more interesting by simply polishing the bezel, putting in a glossy dial and giving a pop of colour to the indices.
