You'd be pleasantly surprised...

Many females love watches. They just would not sit in a forum posting about them. My wife always borrows my watches and gifted me many as well.

Jenni Elle, Watch Gringa and plenty more just look harder.

My Mrs has a pretty decent collection & is slowly learning about watchmaking with the aim of being able to service them. I've zero interest in that but obviously do what I can to help & encourage her.

If there's one thing that I have learned in my half century of life, it's that nothing is ever completely one way or another (except this one fact 😉).

As such, I generally try to never make statements like "only men are watch enthusiasts".

There might be significantly more men than women in the hobby, but the women that are, are just as knowledgeable and passionate about it as men.

But if you want to intentionally post false inflammatory statements to get attention, more power to you. I will eventually mute &/or block accounts that do such childish things.

The number of women knowledgeable in watches far outnumber the men I know in real life. My vintage girl knows about movements and calibers and history and styles, more so than me. She talks in reference numbers, dangerous people those.

You can't be absolutist. You need to say that there are essentially/almost/virtually no girls. There are very small exceptions.

I used to know a woman who was one of the most knowledgeable sales agents in the city, worked at all the high end watch boutiques, was fierce, intense a legend with shop owners who hired her until she moved on to the next better gig. I heard that she finally retired because she grew weary of dealing with guys in the watch industry who did not reach her level. My Panerai was purchased from a young woman who knew more about the brand than most guys who love the robust watches. I can go on but there is no need.

Is it just me or does this question seem a bit creepy?
