My only "Keeper"

I've ditched the idea of "keeper" after parting with a few keepers to be. But this one is an exception. I bought it in 2000 to celebrate my promotion to a manager role. It's been with me for 24 years through good and bad times, and I wear it when I want a fresh look at whatever work I am going to do on that day.

It will stay with me until my son gets promoted to a manager role or when I retire (if he wants it).

Beautiful watch. I'm sure you son would appreciate it down the road. What watches did you part with?

Breguet Tradition 7097 - It was once my grail but it grew too big when I lost a lot of weight and fat around my wrist (in a healty way)

Speedmaster moonwatch previous gen - My head loved it but my heart didn't. Replaced it with SMP300 green, which my head says "Ugly!" but my heart says "Beautiful!"

Bell & Ross BR03 - I know many enthusiasts see it as a fasion watch but I loved it. But it grew too big (same as Breguet.)

I still miss 7097 a lot.

Thanks for the response. Those are some great watches, but I totally understand your decisions. You have good taste. Cheers.

Dang that Breguet is something special

Definitely could see it being a dinner plate on the wrist but wow that movement

A keeper indeed. Like you, I will never part with this guy! It's amazing this 37mm case holds so many complications!

Surely well deserved and also with good memories attached. A keeper and a family heirloom. Beautiful watch.

Classy one.

One of my favourite watches out there. Fully understand this is a keeper for real. Enjoy!
