Argh 21 mm lug width so annoying!!

·

Sizing on that is great other than the lug width. Going with 20 would have made the proportions better.

·

i've been waiting for this. thanks for the heads up!

Longines always need one drawback to keep their design away from being perfect. Happens with all their models.

They are just protecting your savings 😉

Beautiful. The 39mm anthracite one is possibly the first Longines ever I'm actually really tempted by.

·

Where did you get the info on availability? I could not find that.

It's there on Longines website, check your regional website for information.

If you are in Europe, only the black and blue variants are available for now. The rest will be released in the coming months.

Got it. Thanks. I am in the US and it says "notify when available". Just excited to get the blue one in soon!

Longines are great classic designs but the effectivene lug length on bracelets makes them all poor options for us small wristed chaps. Despite quite reasonable case sizes 🤔

Also so weird 19 and 21 widths keep getting used 🙄

I am not a fan of that bracelet in general, I think it's too thin, so the leather is the interesting one for me but I am seriously annoyed by the 21mm width. Much more than normally because I was looking forward to this for a while.

I actually read somewhere that Longines doesn't deem odd lug widths a problem (it was their own statement but a different watch) as straps are readily available these days. Not so sure about that but they can be made, I guess in their mind it counts. But what they fail to grasp is that myself (and I am sure many others) already have 20mm straps and I might in fact buy a watch because "it goes really well" with my straps (and many would even fit with their tuck away folding clasp) ... but I don't have a single 21mm strap.

S&G on strap

I give this watch…FIVE STARS

Now they just need to announce the 39mm legend diver

And a 39mm and less thick Flyback chronograph spirit!!

·

Perfect size! I would love if Longines made the spirit 39 as well.

The 37 is too small and the 40 is too big in my opinion.

·

I really like it, however the crown and bezel are plated... with 200 microns of 18k gold... as it says on their website.

All the reviewers said it was gold and even in the promo looked that way. Can't justify more 1500€ for a gold plating x)

Stunning looking at trying one of these on this week.
