I think the Doxa train has sailed for me price wise, with two price hikes this year alone.. So I'm very happy about this one. And I would rather support Marei than the current Doxa.

Downhill is where my heart lies, why I'd love to visit there!

Oddly enough I've broken more bones racing cyclocross and dual slalom than downhill!

It's not too late yet 😜 I don't like extreme sports too much. I lean more towards slow and steady/painful and exhausting if I get to choose. But I habe tries some downhill skiing the last two seasons because my eldest does it with his great grandfather 😅

We used to go the cabins around theses time as well … no cell phones … tons of black bears and fishes and no air conditioning during the summer… and it was memorable… I should do this with my family soon… for my own mental health

This isn't wilderness in that sense. But the view and surroundings are spectacular 😊 had a walk this morning with the youngest in COMPLETE silence. Walking between ancient farmhouses and fruit threes, buying cherries from a local farmer.

You should do it. I belive that simple living is very freeing! Even if it's just for short while 😊
