Do you like Bell & Ross?

I came across some watch snobs who look down upon Bell & Ross as a brand. I find their watches very good looking and movement is also okaish. Isn’t it a good buy?

Personally I like it and I’ll buy it, Curious about what you guys think!

They make nice watches with reliable movements. Granted most are way too big for the average wrist, but like Panerai, they have a target audience in mind.

Them making nice watches does not mean they are a good buy. At retail, they are a horrible value. One can get better spec watches for a 1/3rd the price. They simply are not worth the sum of the parts. However used, or about 50% off retail, I think they are a good pickup for someone looking for that style.

I really like them , back in the day I had a BR02 Dive watch , rocked it for a couple of years.

I agree with @AllTheWatches that the MSRP value is terrible but with BR you are paying for the unique design I guess , they are one of only a few brands that you can tell what they are from the other side of the room.

Voted no for two reasons, firstly I don't like their square design ( personal preference ) and secondly, the MSRP on new ones are ridiculous. Using non-COSC Selita movements with 38h power reserve in 5k watch is a discrace IMO. That is clearly shown by second hand price retention, dropping 20-30% as soon as they leave the shop.

Purchased a BR03 92 with a good discount brand new,as it was ceramic wasn't sure what to expect also being square, the results are in,it's a great watch comfortable especially on the rubber strap easily readable great lume , highly recommend people give them a chance, don't understand why people give them a hard time without trying them on

I tried this one on earlier today. I was blown away by how good it felt on the wrist. The rubber strap just melts into your arm and the ceramic case is a stunner.

No. Price, shape, size. They're so distinctive that I can just skip over them, like Panerai.

I own several B&R…clearly a fan 🤙❤️🎯

How long have you had the B&R and how does the ceramic case wear?

I've had it nearly a year,it's worn in rotation,it's been in the sea and pools, they are a little heavy but don't move on my 7in wrist,I've banged it against a marble work top with no damage,I got it whilst on sale so saved £1000

Awesome, they’re one of the most distinctive watches going around. Love em’ and can’t wait to get one myself.

The BR-05 is the only integrated bracelet design I’ve seen that gets me all chuffed up. I tried it on and it is a great looking watch. I agree the price gets high and comparison shopping would lead me in some other directions but the 05 looks damn good.

Everyone wants to hate that watch, but I agree, I think it is awesome looking. When they hit $2500 I may pick one up.

I don’t really like the square instrument watches, but the vintage models, like the V2-92 looks very nice.
