If you need to go to the most remote places in the world where things that you take for granted at home is a question mark. Which watch would you wear? For me, its my SINN 556I RS. Simple, tough and will not attract much unwanted attention.
Not a big fan of Rolex watches personally, but in this situation, I'd go for the OP or Explorer 1. They're reliable and low-key, perfect for flying under the radar. Plus, having one could come in handy for negotiating my way out of sticky situations.

If it has to be from my personal collection, it would have to be my Doxa. Robust, accurate, and full of memories.
Honestly, my G-Shock 5610. As much as I like my automatic and quartz watches, if I’m going that far “off the grid” only the G-Shock really makes sense.

Good pick. In that scenario, I might pick a robust automatic with day/date.
Solid choice!
I took a Gshock to the furthest place I’ve been from home. Would do so again, but I don’t think I’ll ever be back to Afghanistan 🤔😬
Casio 1000% can easily replace and be willing to throw or give it away if needed

CASIO WVQ-110TDJ.
it's analog, titanium, tough solar, date only and has very bright LED light.
I could use the light to signal my position if something required me to do so.
😀
Seiko Solar diver. No battery or service needed. Tough, accurate and legible.
Solar, band 6, G-Shock everyTime
Difficult to beat
I would copy you with my 556ib
Citizen, Promaster, Titanium, 'Ray Mears', solar. Sometimes described as 'the only watch you need.
On a nato if I need to keep a low profile.
I’m going sinn as well there is nothing this thing couldn’t survive without a scratch
