Double-Wristing

What's your thoughts on double-wristing(a smart watch and an analogue watch). Will you do it? I love my automatic, but I can't deny the convenience of a smart watch.

That’s exactly what I look like every day. 🤣I even put my bracelet in the same spot in front of the Apple Watch. I know people are not going to understand the look and laugh but I truly can care less. That’s how I like to get down and there is no shame in my game!

I tried double writing an Apple Watch because my coach wanted me to count steps daily, having something as heavy as my old Apple Watch was pretty uncomfortable on my non dominant wrist so I gave a Garmin band a spin. Ideally I would much prefer to have only my regular watch on, but I can live with smart band

I do it on hikes. Suunto on the right hand, Alpinist on left.

I used to be a T-Mobile customer for many years (I am with Spectrum now) and they always would have sales or offers on tablets, Bluetooth speakers and smartwatches. I remember checking some smartwatches out and I just couldn't deal with a smartwatch, let alone one watch on one wrist and another in the other wrist. I rather just have one watch (a non-smartwatch) on one wrist and call it a day. But if you can rock it, then good for you😎

I occasionally toss a g shock on my right wrist to add some functionality like a timer for something in the oven without taking my main watch of the day off, but if I wanted to take advantage of function-rich quartz watches while outside doing stuff, I'd probably just wear it as my main watch that day.

If there was double wristing to be done it would be with a smart watch or fitness tracker and a “real” watch .There is no possibility of me doing it as I have absolutely zero interest in smart watches 😉

·

Been doing it for years. Gets looks of disapproval sometimes, but who cares. I use my Fitbit and I love wearing my 'Real' watches. Just do it 👍

I double wrist sometimes. When I acquire a new watch, and I donâÂÂt want to leave the old one in a box.

I go with watch plus fitness band.

I wear the Whoop band on my right wrist and my watches on my left wrist.

Never, but place no judgement on those that do (provided it’s a mechanical with a smart watch/fitness tracker). I have a Fitbit, wore it for a few weeks, then stopped seeing the point. But when I did wear it, I wouldn’t typically wear a mechanical watch: I’d be in the gym, so a mechanical watch made no sense.

I was considering it and was turned off by the subscription service, the garmin I'm using is serving me well

Nope, can’t do it. Won’t do it.

To each their own, but it screams “try hard” to me. It feels like the equivalent of a sneakerhead (guilty as charged) wearing two different shoes just to “let you know” that he has more. But as I said, if it makes you happy, do it all day everyday.

Not again. You just need a neck watch and two ankle watches. 😂

Hey,

This is something I have been doing for quite awhile. I love mechanical watches, but I want to monitor my health data all the time. I am working on a project about having a good solution for this problem (cuz I think this is a bit of a problem). I would love to chat about it over a quick zoom. For anyone interested, send me a message at: synthron.watch@gmail.com
