Truly understandable. I was also hesitant when deciding to get a vintage watch. Perhaps it's one of the beauty of vintage watch collecting, you need to understand the history, movement and also think about servicing the watch. My first vintage watch was also a seiko and it inspires me to learn a bit of tinkering the watch, a simple opening of the caseback, polishing the crystal, regulating the movement and then I was hooked 😅

What dial version do you have? I am also eyeing for the silver dial, perhaps in the near future. Another great vintage seiko 👍
