Baltic MR01 finally got delivered!
After a month or so of waiting my pre-ordered MR01 came and I have to say it is awesome. It wears well, actually wears a bit smaller than my 36mm DD but doesn't feel diminutive on my 7.5 inch wrist. I think the blue or salmon dials would wear a bit smaller as the dial looks small with the thick outer bezel. The Breguet indices and leaf hands are always playing with the light. The movement looks truly terrific. I have had the privilege of some wrist time with a bunch of highly decorated movements in watches (Glashutte, LUC Chopard, Patek, etc) and no joke, from maybe 6-12 inches away you'd be hard pressed to choose one over the other. Under macro is where it all falls apart with dust, smudges, etc all over the place. It looks much nicer than other Chinese movements I've experienced like ST1901s and such, those look cheap from any distance but somehow the finishing on this micro rotor is leaps and bounds better. You need to see one of these in the flesh of you can!

My blue suede came from CheapestNatos, its pretty nice for what it is I think
I actually prefer the silver to the salmon 👌 lovely watch.

Mine just arrived and very similar feelings. The movement blew me away. The strap was a lovely surprise too - really nice quality.
Mine came in today as well. I bought both the silver and the salmon version because I couldn't choose between the the two and thought once I get them in hand I can easily sell the one I liked less.
Well, that sounded easy... but I like them both! A little smaller than I imagined but not bad for my 17cm wrist.

If you can't appreciate a movement without a jeweler's loupe, do you carry one with you at all times (for the general public, or course)?
The MR01 looks great. If I were interested in a dedicated dress watch, I wouldn't have hesitated to pick this one up after seeing their previous release of a dress watch, their HMS002. That piece is also a stunner that is solidly on my radar.

I really thought I would keep the silver version. I like the silver and green combo, very classy. But the numbers and hands are a little hard to see against that background. The salmon has more contrast. Also, I think getting another nice silver dial watch shouldn't be as hard as getting another salmon dial watch with this style for this price.... so it seems I'm keeping the salmon.
