They have so many vintage Seikos in the that fashion on Etsy for great prices. BUT the fear of what is inside of those watches is terrifying. I have very little confidence anything on it is original.

Truly understandable. I was also hesitant when deciding to get a vintage watch. Perhaps it's one of the beauty of vintage watch collecting, you need to understand the history, movement and also think about servicing the watch. My first vintage watch was also a seiko and it inspires me to learn a bit of tinkering the watch, a simple opening of the caseback, polishing the crystal, regulating the movement and then I was hooked 😅

That's gorgeous 😍👍👍
Great looking Seiko! This should be a reissue.
I have that same reference! Love it.
Looks awesome! Vintage Seikos are simply amazing looking. My 6139 is being serviced at the moment.
Lovely

Very cool.
A reissue of that design fitted with Seiko’s new solar quartz GMT movement would be a killer travel watch.

What dial version do you have? I am also eyeing for the silver dial, perhaps in the near future. Another great vintage seiko 👍
