Hi WatchCrunch! I thought I’d share my newest acquisition for my first watch shot. This is my Dan Henry 1970, and I’m chuffed to bits about it.

Thank you, and yes I agree. Most dual crown watches seem to get the proportions all wrong, but I really like the design of the 1970.

Congratulation on your new watch purchase. Dan Henry are a very good choice of you like vintage style watches but prefer not to have the hassle of keeping and servicing vintage watches.
I have the 1962 racing chrono and although I think it could be better, there is still the undeniable fact that owning the 1962 prevented me from doing stupid things, such as buying a real vintage chrono, or worse - a MoonSwatch.

I love the 1962 as well. I’ve been on the hunt for a chrono for a while now and have been eyeing the Seiko Speedtimer, but I think I may end up getting another Dan Henry instead.
