Three Amigos
After I started collecting watches my father in law told me that he had an automatic Omega years ago. Some time ago he said that if came across an automatic Omega he would be interested so I started browsing eBay etc. Last week I bought this old Seamaster pictured on the left. I had to put it next to my Bond and Speedy in the roll.
I hope he likes it and is not totally shocked by the price. If he doesn't like it I might keep it as a dress piece.

Vintage Omega can not take NATO straps. That provision is found on page 836. It is known.

He said he prefers it on a steel bracelet and this one came with beads of rice that I took off as I was testing it. Leather is a classic choice for these old Omegas.

@Aurelian is correct. I had my 1958 Omega on a NATO, and it looked okay-ish. Now it wears a ralleye black leather band. It looks better, but I'm still searching for the perfect strap for it.
