Summer strap ideas for my Pointer Date Calibre 473

I love my Oris Pointer Date 473.

It's a gift from my wife for our wedding, and I frequently wore it during our honeymoon.

However, it has seen less wrist time these days due to the fact that it's summer, and the Cervo Volante leather strap, while fitting perfect with the watch, doesn't work well when the temperature is close to 35 C (95 F)

So, I've been trying to find some alternative summer straps for this beauty, but I'm having a difficult time finding a suitable one.

Maybe I'll get the perlon strap that Oris made for Diver Sixty-five Cotton Candy once it comes out in stainless steel pin buckle... (only bronze pin buckle version is available atm)

Any other suggestions would be welcome!

Absolutely love that watch. I think some muted nylon straps might work as well.

The Oris pointer date is such a classic!

What's the lug width for your watch?

It's 19mm.

It's 19mm.

That size is not uncommon. I usually buy a bunch off AliExpress to try and if I like the style, I might consider getting a better one.

This is a great watch, especially from the back! If they release an off white dial I’d probably buy one.

Amazing watch. I want to add a pointer date to my collection.

I'd go with something bold for summer, like a red mato strap to match the pointer date.

I jumped in to suggest a perlon - so you're way ahead of me! ☻

𝘉𝘶𝘵 ... I did also think of these. Something about that dial colour and the almost tweed-ish colours of these straps came to mind.

They're from CNS (Cheapest Nato Straps, Sweden). Quality is only so/so tbh - 𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 in my experience (... Australian summers!) a few inexpensive straps for those hottest summer weeks never go astray. ✌︎

This is sure a beautiful watch Jake. I love the dial color way. As far as straps are concerned this can probably pair easily with almost and style of design. You can go white rubber, Jubilee bracelet, red Nado. The only thing I would recommend is going curved rubber ends or interlocking end links on a bracelet.

I know it’s a late post but can’t you take the Deere leather off and for the same buckle add a nato strap to it? It’s a waste cause it has micro adjustment and all
