The one that got away
Does anyone have watch regrets selling their watches? Mine is the spb259j1 seiko alpinist ginza.
Unfortunately, had to sell it last year to fund my wedding. Missing this piece in a heartbeat.

The Ginza Alpinist is high on my wish list. The prices for the watch on the used market are crazy now.
Can't even think about looking at the secondary market prize for the Ginza these days. It's crazy.
I miss the one a lot, and knowing that I will not be able to afford one again (at least new) makes me really sad. Would not sell it if I could go back 🥲

My SARB red green blue, bought in Umeda Yodobashi in 1999. - movement broke several years ago and rather than fixing it, I sold it for cheap - wish I'd kept it!!!
Happily, I got my wife's mom to run down to nearby Seiko dealer in Kobe to grab me an Alpinist Ginza the day they were released. Given the run around getting it I won't ever sell, plus it's so beautiful when the light hits it and it reminds me of walking around in Gion!

Keep ear to the the ground and I’m sure another secret GS will come along in Alpinist form. That mystic forest was also quite good I think.
I love getting watches that ‘represent me’ …it puts them into the ‘never sell’ category
Ginza and Gion (the watch dial) make me think of fun times with wifey in those neighborhoods
