I've got mine pre-loved on Ebay for a bit over 200 £... you can have a look at the Lineage range, they are similar and cheaper, but you loose the blue accents... Citizen has some really nice radio controlled watches aswell, but I think they go for the same money...

It's under 40... it is listed on most sites including the crown, hence the 41.5.

I would never swim with mine, but just because I keep it on a leather strap, otherwise I don't see any issues... If it's 50m or above, it's safe...

May I sugest the Casio Oceanus S100? It has blue accents, similar use scenarios but it's titanium and quartz radio-controlled.... and it's gorgeous.
