I've never ordered from them, but it's my understanding that it's safe to buy from them, although you may just get their own Jomashop warranty in place of the manufacturers warranty
I would say it depends on how much you are spending there. I have purchased a number of entry-level watches from Jomashop, but would be hesitant to purchase a luxury watch there rather than from an AD.
I would be weary of buying a luxury piece from Jomashop because of the warranty but anything value or budget wise is totally fine to buy from Jomashop. Seiko dive watches would probably have an alignment problem tho. Also, sunglasses are perfect to buy from them because they’re heavily discounted.
I bought a $850 Hamilton Navy pioneer that arrived totally broken from Jomashop. After I contacted them and said it's losing 4 hours a day they didn't just send me another one like I expected, they were rude and doubtful and said the only option is to send it back for repair.
After 3 months it came back from "repair" and it was totally broken not even running at all. After a second 3 month repair it came back working but wouldn't hand wind and would lose power overnight. The whole time they were rude and zero contact or updates. I should have done a credit card chargeback, stupidly I waited too long.
Worst service I've ever experienced, I'd never give them a nickel, buy from somewhere else even if it costs more, if you have a problem you are screwed, not worth it.
