Guess what day it is…

Been waiting a month for this day to finally arrive lol

I went to the Watch fair on October 21 hoping I could see this in person but by the time I got there they had already sold out including the display so the only thing I got to see was the Kermit frog doll lol 😫

To be honest, if I owned this watch, I would set the date to Kermit everyday!

Wow, I know that feeling. I actually have an AD fairly close that I have done a lot fo business with. I had shown interest in the Pro Pilot X when it came out but never sealed the deal since I already had a titanium watch, which I had told them as much. When they received another Kermit they called me to see if I was interested. I went out of curiosity and instantly fell in love with this version. Bought it on the spot. I hope you get the opportunity too, this watch is a lot of fun. Something different for us long time collectors.

Thanks and, to be honest, I thought of doing that🤣. Ultimately I decided that it would be much more fun to anticipate the day and wear the watch on or around the first. May not be a daily wear but it’s definitely part of the rotation….especially around the 1st😁.

That’s awesome that the AD thought of you and honored your relationship with them to call you in and take a look at the time peace after passing up the last one. Congratulations to being able to buy it on the spot as well I guess for now, you’ll have to just enjoy it enough for the both of us, but definitely something I have my eyes on for the future

Ya, I noticed it too. When in the watch box it loses 5spd but when I wear it it stays spot on. Weird but I still love it😁

This watch is REALLY high on my list. I regret not owning it every 1st of the month.

I'm not a fan of funny watches in general, but this one and the Speedmaster Snoopy are the exception, both are really cool

I love this edition! I tried and tried to see one in person but no dealer I went into ever had one. So, I would up with a Breitling instead.

I saw someone with the salmon dial on the ferry and I was like “ok cool youre definitely into watches”

The salmon dial is the one I initially was looking at but just couldn’t make up my mind. Then the Kermit came out and I had to see it for myself. It was the one I ended up choosing😋

Did you ask to buy the doll? Did you at least get a picture with it?

This watch is on my wishlist but I'm disappointed that Kermit only pops up once a month. There are enough muppets to have a different one every day of the month with Kermit every 7th day.

But even though I'm whining, if I had the money I would have bought this watch, as is, a long time ago.

There’s a new model for the ProPilot X caliber 400 coming very very soon (next couple of days). I have been allowed to try it at Zurich’s ORIS boutique. The dial is laser etched, stunning.
