My first dive watch!
Ever since getting into this hobby at the end of last year, dive watches hadn't really spoken to me. Recently, the Casio Duro caught my eye, partly because it's affordable, partly because of the simple and clean nature of the design.
Since it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself to my first dive watch and so far, I quite like it! It's not love at first sight, but it's exactly what I was expecting. It's my second day wearing it and I find it comfortable, although heavy, and contrary to almost every review I've checked, I like the strap it comes with. It's a little chunky, but it's supple enough to be comfortable and keep the watch in place on the wrist.
I don't think I'll get into dive watches because I now have one, I'm not sure it's a style that suits me all that much, but I'm glad I have one and I plan on enjoying it fully! It's surely gonna go in the pool and on stage with me at some of my shows. Fun times ahead!

If you had somehow picked up a new Submariner as a first diver that'd be over commitment to a style you don't know if you are fully into yet. You are smart! Happy Birthday and Enjoy!
