Hamilton Khaki Field

I love this watch and wear it almost daily (especially on warmer days), but knew I would have to replace the manufacture strap right away. The the nato strap went around my skinnier wrist and hung slightly over the dial; because of the leather tip I didn’t want to fold it back under itself and of course didn’t want to cut off the extra length. Thoughts on the watch, and does anyone share this experience?

My issue strap fitted but I swapped it onto a bund which looks good and is very comfortable?

I have mine on a black nato strap rn — that bung strap looks incredible

Khaki field is a strap monster. Have tons of NATOs, Zulus it works on. You can definitely find an aftermarket strap that fits your wrist and aesthetic.

Agreed! & thank you — I did find a black strap that fits me much better

I love the khaki field mechanical but always found the long lugs and that gap to the body of the watch a bit off-putting. The bund solved it for me.

Lovely watch. I have no issues with cutting and sealing a NATO to fit.

I owned one for many years and my favorite strap was a beige perlon! If you’ve never used a perlon would definitely recommend trying one out. Amazon has them for about 12 doubloons!

I love my KFM. Got it on NATO too. my wrist is 7 inches and the strap works perfect.

If I had to swap I'd go CNS watch bands. Their premium straps are very affordable and of excellent quality - highly recommend. Not your standard NATO, but they do sell those too.

WatchGecko did a video on the KFM on various straps.

Yup, it's a classic for a reason. I've been round the houses on straps for mine and can heartily recommend an Erika's Originals as being the best bet for looks and comfort.

The solution is to fold it back. Why don’t you want to do that with the leather tip? That’s what you’re supposed to do with NATOs.

Mine I use the leather strap from Hamilton. It’s not too long as the canvas one. And skinnier as well.

Thank you for this recommendation— I’m considering getting that strap around/for the holiday season

I have been wearing this piece for months and I love it all the way.

Here's mine, on my 6.5 inch wrist. I tried NATO's, leather, so on and so forth. Although I got tired of the appearance from experimenting with various straps, I decided to rubbed it in an Uncle Straps Z199 Bracelet. It significantly completes the looks and wearibility, whether it is for work or everyday activities. It is comfortable as well as the quality is top-notch!

this is a perfect watch. My only regret is it does not really fit with the style/color of my clothes in general. because of its brown lume.
