Hey guys. My name is Jason and I am an aspiring watch nerd as well as a watch designer and wearing the Venturian Wildsider that just launched in July. I am hoping to make some connections and learn more and more about watches and watch culture.

I'll be honest and say that I don't know if I like it, entirely. What I do like is that I can't think of anything that looks like it, which is important in this "homage of a homage" watch world.
So, for less then $400 USD you can get an original design, a titanium case, sapphire crystal, and solar quartz? That checks a lot of boxes.

I have small wrists 😭 It’s 38mm - 44 lug to lug and 10mm above the wrist.

Oh man your profile says 8.5 wrist! I was like “dang that’s a monster watch!”. I actually like the design alot. Like someone else said, it’s nice to see an original design. Love the Titanium too!

I’ve been in education for the past 8 years so a lot of my earlier stuff is now out of date. Thanks for asking though; these days I channel my creative energies towards curriculum design and strategy for my department 😁
