Moonswatch

I just bought this one for $30 (fake) because I can’t see myself spending 10x the amount for aprox the same quality. I only think buying a fake is justifiable for watches like the moonswatch though, what’s your opinion?

I am opposed to fakes in principle but Swatch has clearly decided to trade integrity for a quick cash grab so screw it, fakes for all. They are probably better quality anyway.

The swatch group, could manufacture hundreds of thousands of them, and sell them online. Instead put out a handful in each store, then send home hundreds of people who have patiently queued for hours. Putting flippers ahead of watch fans. It's wearing a little thin. Totally against fakes, but here an exception.

💯 agree- the only people who are buying these are the resellers and the people who are true watch enthusiasts cannot find one. WHY cant they sell them online?! So irritated with the Swatch group!

Not a fan of the MoonSwatch.

But even a branded fake moonswatch should be hit with a hammer.

Branded fakes suck, no matter who they are faking.

I also hate the selective availabilty of these watches, but not to the point that I'll support a branded fake.

The real one rocks an ETA movement for years of use the fake will die early unless they use a Japanese quartz

Yeah I don’t have huge expectations for this one since I only paid $30, if it lasts a year or two I would be happy
